EU Project “Activate for more opportunities” for help where most needed

Due to the lack of masks at the time of Corona virus pandemic, members of the Organization of people with disabilities of Kuršumlija went spontaneously to sew cotton masks for their members, people with disabilities, geronto-housekeepers and other members of the community.

In order to help the society that is struggling for human lives, protective masks will not be sold. Marko Filipovic, Manager of the “Activate for more opportunities” project, and President of the Organization of people with disabilities of Kuršumlija, stated that all produced mask will be donated.

Sewing and tailoring equipment (old crafts), is acquired through the “Activate for more opportunities” project, which is part of the grant scheme “European Union Support to Active Youth Inclusion”, worth 4.7 million euros, funded by the EU and co-funded by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
